What exactly is The iRead Review?
The iRead Review consists of one-sentence catchy summary plus a 250 to 300-word review of your book. We also provide a sheet with extra comments, highlights and/or suggestions that we feel will be useful to you. For fiction books, the review will consists of a brief summary of your book's story followed by comments on the plot, characters, writing style and overall execution of the story. For non-fiction books, the review will consist of a brief overview of your book's topic, followed by comments on your writing style, how well-researched and presented is your topic, the value of your topic, and layout of the information. The review will be objective and honest but never harsh or derogatory.
We accept manuscripts and galley copies, especially if you are looking for a pre-release review. Please ensure that the copy you send us has been professionally edited and is in the last stage of proofreading.
What is the process for getting my book reviewed?
We encourage you to first read our submission guidelines since we accept most genres but not all. If you think your book fits our guidelines, please take the time to submit it. This will require you to fill out a form that will give us all the necessary details about you and your book. We will then look over your submission and contact you if we decide to accept your book for review. We will then send you a Paypal invoice to pay for the service. Once payment is done, we will proceed with getting your book to the reviewer.
What is the fee for this service?*
Children's Books: 32 - 100 pages $50 - 1 - 2 weeks (expedited review within 5-7 days)
100 - 150 pages: $65 - within 2 - 3 weeks (expedited review within 1 - 2 weeks)
150 - 200 pages $75 - within 2 - 3 weeks (expedited review within 1 - 2 weeks)
200 - 250 pages: $85 - within 3 - 4 weeks (expedited review within 2 - 3 weeks)
250 - 300 pages: $95 - within 3 - 4 weeks (expedited review within 2 - 3 weeks)
300 - 350 pages: $105 - within 4 - 5 weeks (expedited review within 3 - 4 weeks)
350 - 400 pages: $115 - within 4 - 5 weeks (expedited review within 3 - 4 weeks)

We will send you a Paypal invoice by email. You do not need to have an account with Paypal to make your payment.
Why am I paying for a review? Aren't reviews supposed to be free?
In essence, you are not paying for a review since payment does not affect what will be written in the review. The fee instead covers the time and energy it takes to coordinate and find the right reviewer from our list who will be compensated for carefully reading your book, analysing its content and writing the review.
How can I use the review once I receive it?
You are free to quote the review in part or in whole without changes to the wording. You may use the byline on the front or back cover of your book. You can include it on your Amazon page (and any other online retailer) under Editorial Reviews. You can add it on your website, Facebook page and other social media sites. You can include a quote as part of your email signature line. All we ask is that you acknowledge The iRead Review as its source.
What if I do not like the review?
Our reviewers strive to produce a well-written and objective review. This does not mean the review will be positive, however, because we do screen books before accepting them, the likelihood is that we are reading books we feel we can help to promote. All our reviews will include positive elements. You are welcome to communicate your thoughts on your review with us, however, we do not change what we write in our reviews. Our reviewers have been screened and carefully selected. They are professionals in their field and conscientious about what they write.
Do you post the review online?
Yes, we post the review on this website and we share it on our social media sites. We do not post the review on Amazon or other online retail store. You are welcome to add the review to these sites under the Editorial Reviews section. If you wish us not to post the review online, we will not do so.
